The People First of Ottawa website is in development! This is what we do:

Promote equality for all persons who have experienced being labeled with an intellectual or developmental disability. Assist each other in speaking up for ourselves and making our own decisions. Teach the community about the rights, abilities and strengths of people who have experienced the label of intellectual or developmental disability. Hold meetings and discussions for the purpose of organizing and educating people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
